For the past week or so, Portugal has been pumping. Since last Sunday, back-to-back swells have filled the entirety of the North Atlantic and it's not stopping any time soon.
On Friday, a fresh NW swell started to build off the west coast of Portugal. By Saturday morning, a moderate NNE wind swung even further to the north, and quietened down to a gentle breeze — which meant, it would be offshore in Ericeira.

"In fact, it was probably the best day of the season so far. Or definitely one of the most perfect days in a long while," says Bruno Dias, videographer who captured the above six rides for all of us.
"Super fun session," said Portugal's Antonio Silva, who has spent a lot of time along the Ericeira coastline. "It's a special place with special waves for me."
"We saw this day coming for a while now," said Kanoa Igarashi. "Luckily enough we woke up with a beautiful morning, offshore wind. When the conditions line up and everyone is in the water, it's like a big family reunion out there. Everyone got one or two at least."
This week, there's a lot of action in the North Atlantic, if you can get away from that strong wind. Keep an eye on the forecast, here.
