Trent Munro Surf Academy: eat, sleep & learn from one of the worlds best surfers

Each year travelling surfers and backpackers head to the warm waters and the great waves of Australia. The pilgrimage usually starts in Sydney, NSW and then makes its way up the coast into Queensland, ending the east coast adventure somewhere near Cairns.
A perfect surf destination sometimes missed by the travelling backpackers & surfers are the areas of Coff's Harbour & Port Macquire. It’s perfectly situated between Newcastle & Byron Bay and it offers great uncrowded surf for all levels and abilities.

The Area is also home to one the world’s top surfers Trent Munro. For those that have forgotten his amazing track record on tour he was the 2005 World Number 6 & Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Champion. He is also regarded as one of the most powerful surfers on the planet.

Trent retired from the tour back in 2007 and has opened a one of kind surf academy.

The Trent Munro Surf Academy offers 2 & 3 day all inclusive coaching and surfing lessons and caters for all surfing abilities.

There is also a 2,3 or 5 day high performance coaching program for the experienced surfers who want to take there abilities up a notch or 2.
 
Let Trent show you around his home town area of Scotts Head and surrounds on the mid north coast of NSW, where he’ll show you the business of surfing along uncrowded, crystal clear beach breaks and points that no other pro surfer has ever offered. This is a unique opportunity to stay and play with one of the world’s most powerful surfers.

All Prices include accommodation & a daily surf lesson for learners & intermediate surfers.
Airport transfers from either Coffs Harbour or Port Macqurie can be arranged at an additional cost( Virgin blue flights daily to both destinations) or pick up can be arranged from Macksville bus stop (which is on the Greyhound run) at no extra charge.

Travellers will stay in a self contained unit that can sleep up to 4 people at any one time with T.V, DVD & XBOX. Access to all surfing areas is available in a 4WD Hilux.
