3ft Light Cross-Shore wind * * *
Surf conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Thursday 17th October 2013: There's about three feet of surf rolling in here this morning, it's all really setty with a bit of a wait and it is a bit crumbly too. That is probably just the combination of the early morning fug of Autumn combined with the dropping tide but the wind, light as it is, is just a bit more westerly than is ideal. That will change soon enough. All the forecasts are showing a south west wind shift through the morning. So I would imagine that things will improve when the tide shifts. This afternoon could just see some really good surf around here, especially if the swell improves as it should!
