It’s the reason people dream about surfing Morocco - when the big winter swells arrive, the waves at the world-famous Anchor Point are pumping, and Surf Star Morocco were in the front row this week to enjoy the action.

Locals, visitors, pros, drop-ins and kooks alike were out in force, with consistent double overhead+ sets being the stage to some high energy performance surfing, and the best-of-the-rest keeping busy on the inside sections picking up the unridden strays.

Positioned as close to the action as dry feet would allow, our surf camp guests hung out on the point with the camera crews to enjoy the excitement and atmosphere, and witness a great display of advanced surfing. Spotted in the line-up at Anchor Point were our very own Surf Star instructors jostling out the back for the bombs and barrels.

After an inspiring sunset session, a local happened to casually mention that when Anchor Point’s fully-firing, “the wave size can be double (this evening)”…. now that’s gotta be something worth booking your flight to Morocco for right? We’ll see you out here!
